Who does FreeSpirit sell to?
FreeSpirit sells bolted goods, pre-cuts and kits to trade retailers and manufacturers. Does FreeSpirit Fabrics have its own double and rolling facility?
G&S Warehouse doubles and rolls all of our 100% cotton 44”/45” goods, except for batiks and specialty fabrics.
Where are FreeSpirit Fabrics produced?
Most of the FreeSpirit Fabrics are produced in South Korea with a few products being produced in Pakistan, China and India.
What should you do if you have a problem with your fabric or a question that you cannot get answered?

Does FreeSpirit Fabrics provide charitable donations or donations for shop hops?
FreeSpirit Fabrics takes pride in donating a lot of fabrics every year to important charitable organizations and causes. Please email us at info@freespiritfabrics.com donations. Please describe in your email the nature of your request. All donation requests should include a street address where items can be sent. Requests without this information will not be honored. Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests asking for material to be sent to PO Boxes. We donate to 501(c)3 organizations with a non-profit Tax ID number, please include the Tax ID number in your email. Due to the vast number of requests received, not all requests can be honored. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the processing of your donation.
How can one become a licensor for FreeSpirit Fabrics?
FreeSpirit Fabrics is always looking for talented and creative artists who are interested in designing fabric lines for us. If interested please submit a portfolio of work (whether art or quilt-related), bio information, appropriate resume, information about other licenses (in other categories of business), agent information if applicable, and a brief statement as to why you would like to be a FreeSpirit designer. Does FreeSpirit Fabrics have sister companies?
The family that owns FreeSpirit Fabrics also owns Henry Glass Fabrics, The Blank Quilting Corp., Studio E Fabrics, Jaftex Corporation, Fabric Editions, Inc., 3 Wishes and A.E. Nathan. The overall umbrella is Jaftex, which is owned by the Fortunoff family. The company that was founded by Jacob A. Fortunoff (JAF of Jaftex) in 1931 and is now being operated by the 3rd and 4th generation.
Can FreeSpirit Fabrics produce custom items?
For manufacturers or retail trade, we can print any pattern that you desire, but there is typically a 1000-yard minimum order or a surcharge for smaller quantities.
