A warm - and rather excited - HELLO from the beautiful South coast of England! I’m a German-British quilter and budding dressmaker (and it still gives me goosebumps when I say this!). My creative journey over the years has been varied and includes silversmithing and pottery amongst other crafts, but it was at the sewing machine that I finally found my true happy place - just as the pandemic hit. I will always be grateful for the sense of calm and balance that the mindful rhythm and rituals of many hours of hand quilting my first quilt provided at the time that the world around us crumbled.
After mastering the basics, I now enjoy venturing into modern improv, freestyle, and appliqué quilting as well as slow stitching small stitch scapes, all of which are documented on my IG and YouTube channels.
