Ever since I was young, I have loved colors and their interactions. They are what bring me great joy. My mother kept us from getting into trouble with crafts of all kinds. Combining that upbringing with an affection for antiques, I eventually fell in love with quilts. I made my first quilt at 14 years old and then in my late 20’s started buying a few vintage quilts. When I figured out that I could make my own quilts, the colorful floodgates of fiber and needle and thread poured into the creative spirit God placed in me at birth. As long as I am able, I will be a maker in the textile realm.
